About Us
We are NRA certified handgun instructors and certified by California DOJ to provide Handgun Safety training and testing for Handgun Safety Certificates.
We have been teaching California concealed weapons classes for 12 years and Utah classes for more than 5 years. Dave Lake has been teaching personal protection and firearm safety classes for over 30 years. Dave Hockaday has been involved in firearms instruction and personal defense tactics for about 12 years and is certified to conduct Nevada CCW training .
Training for Nevada concealed carry is conducted in Lyon County. The training site is normally on Hoye Canyon Road. Directions:
Drive south on 395 to Holbrook Junction (NV 208, which is about 17 miles south of Gardnerville) and make a left turn heading east. Continue on 208 for approximately 11 miles to Wellington. When you see the CASE/IH dealer and the CG Bar, make a left turn onto Hoye Canyon Rd. Drive 2.5 miles and make a right turn through the gate. Head down to the river.
Required payments:
Nevada charges $100.25 for a five year CCW permit.
